摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a coffee composition which is rich in solid content and chlorogenic acids, in which hydroxyhydroquinone is decreased, and which has an excellent flavor.SOLUTION: The method for preparing a coffee composition comprises the steps of: charging roasted coffee beans (A) having 0.90-1.40 mm average particle size and activated carbon (B) having 0.30-0.60 mm average particle size and the amount corresponding to 10-35 mass% of the charged roasted coffee beans in one and the same vessel; supplying an extraction solvent of 70-90°C to the beans-/carbon-charged vessel to obtain a coffee extract; and bringing the obtained coffee extract into contact with activated carbon in the vessel.</p>
