Class 38 (v) [Also in Group XXXV] A rotary distributer for an air-craft magneto (see Group XXXV) comprises a stationary member 34 having three concentric rings of arcuate contacts 35, 36, 37 and a rotary member 33, mounted on the magneto shaft and carrying interconnected brushes 52, 53, 57, 58. The stationary member is formed of a disc-shaped casting having, at its back, terminal bosses 38, 39, and tongues 43,47 which are embedded in the moulded insulating body and make alternate connection with wire 42 connected to the current input terminal. The edge of the disc is slotted radially at 46 and, after moulding, the segments are separated by slots 48, 49.
