This damper device (10) contains a dynamic damper (30) that has the following: a third spring (SP3) coupled to an intermediate member (12); a mass, namely a turbine runner (5), coupled to the third spring (SP3); a coupling member (31); and the like. The third spring (SP3) in the dynamic damper (30) is laid out so as to overlap, in both the axial and radial directions of the damper device (10), a second spring (SP2) that is positioned inwards of a first spring (SP1) and transmits torque between a drive member (11) and a driven member (15). A plane (PL) that is perpendicular to the axis of the damper device (10) and contains the axis of the third spring (SP3) lies within the bounds delineated by the thickness, in the axial direction of the damper device (10), of a spring-contacting part (31c) of the abovementioned coupling member (31).
