The present invention provides a compact crystallized thin layer, having large grains, of absorber material essentially made of Cu, Zn and Sn sulfide(s), preferably CZTS, which has less defects and preferably has an improved composition homogeneity and/or a reduced secondary-phase content, by carrying out a dual-annealing method in predetermined atmospheres of the thin layers of particles of an absorber material made of copper, zinc and tin sulfide, preferably CZTS, deposited on a substrate covered with molybdenum (Mo), said thin annealed absorber layer deposited onto said Mo substrate imparting improved photovoltaic properties to a photovoltaic device including same. |
