The present invention relates to a new variable displacement swash plate type compressor in which a coupling structure between a driving shaft and a rotor is improved to stably transmit torque to the rotor and to generate a forcible slip between the driving shaft and the rotor when excessive torque is generated, thereby preventing the excessive torque from generating damage to various parts. For the above effect, provided is a variable displacement swash plate type compressor which comprises a rotor supporting variation in the tilt angle of a swash plate, forcibly rotating the swash plate, and having a through-hole; and a driving shaft installed to penetrate the through-hole of the rotor, and transmitting a driving force to the rotor, and which further includes a slip member installed to be pressed between the inner circumferential surface of the through-hole of the rotor and the outer circumferential surface of the driving shaft, transmitting the driving force of the driving shaft to the rotor, and temporarily cutting off power transmission between the driving shaft and the rotor by allowing the driving shaft and the rotor to slip on each other when overload higher than or equal to a predetermined torque is generated, wherein the outer circumferential surface of the driving shaft corresponds to the inner circumferential surface of the through-hole of the rotor. |
