PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear for an electric power steering device which is excellent in fatigue resistance and saving of costs, and which has small water absorption, strength deterioration, and dimensional change while using polyamide 6, polyamide 66, and polyamide 46 which are water absorptive, and which is excellent in durability. ! SOLUTION: A reduction gear for an electric power steering device comprises: an outer periphery of a metallic core pipe; and a resin composition including at least one kind of polyamide resin selected of polyamide 6, polyamide 66, and polyamide 46. On the outer periphery, a resin part on which a gear tooth is formed is integrated. The reduction gear further comprises: a gear which has been subjected to annealing processing at temperature lower than a melting point of the polyamide resin by 30-100°C. !
