1. A method of recovering desired co-products from post fermentation stillage streams, comprising:
a) milling a biomass/water mixture to produce a relatively uniform particle size of less than 1600 microns; b) fermenting the biomass mixture to generate a primary product and a post fermentation stillage stream; c) mechanically separating the stillage stream into streams comprising a light phase material and an aqueous phase material; and d) recovering products from the separated streams.
