METHOD FOR PREPARING ULTRAFINE DIAMOND SINTERED BODY

The present invention relates to a method for preparing an ultrafine diamond sintered body. Specifically, the method for preparing an ultrafine diamond sintered boy according to the present invention comprises: an aqueous solution preparing step of preparing an aqueous solution in which at least a part of a metal binder is ionized; a slurry preparing step of preparing slurry by putting a diamond powder in the aqueous solution; a mixing step of irradiating ultrasonic waves on the slurry such that particles of the metal binder are homogeneously dispersed on surfaces of particles of the diamond powder; a reducing and heat-treating step of performing heat treatment on the mixed slurry in a high-pressure environment; and a sintering step of sintering the heat-treated slurry. According to the present invention, the sintering of the diamond sintered body is sufficiently achieved with even a small amount of metal binder through the homogenous dispersion of the metal binder, thereby making it possible to minimize the content of unnecessary metal binder.
