The objective of the invention is to provide a user terminal, a radio base station and a radio communication method that have new configurations that can achieve good communication environments. A radio base station multiplexes downlink signals, which are addressed to a plurality of user terminals, with arbitrary radio resources in a non-quadrature manner. A user terminal having received the downlink signals addressed to the plurality of user terminals decodes the downlink signals addressed to the other terminals, determines, on the basis of a result of the decoding, whether to receive the downlink signals addressed to the other terminals, and notifies the radio base station of both a result of the determination as to whether to receive the downlink signals addressed to the other terminals and a result of a determination as to whether to receive the downlink signal addressed to the local terminal. The radio base station then performs a retransmission control of the downlink signals on the basis of the notification from the user terminal. |
