The vascular prosthesis (10) has radiopaque threads (14,14') that are extended in the longitudinal direction of the prosthesis, and are comprised of metal or metal alloy threads. The region of prosthesis excluding the region of radiopaque threads is formed with a thickness of 1-500 mu m. The radiopaque thread region is formed with a thickness of 30-100 mu m. The metal or metal alloy filament is comprised with interruptions and is linear, zigzag and/or sinusoidal in shape.
