Embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus and a method which transmits and receives uplink demodulation reference signals in a wireless communication system. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the base station device of a wireless communication system includes: a transmission path which transmits downlink control information for uplink approval to at least one member terminal among member terminals; and a reception path which receives transmitted demodulation reference signal (DMRS) based on a resource allocated according to the control information to the member terminal. The control information includes a circulation shift (CS) included in a single resource mapping table with regard to at least two transmission ranks and an indicator which indicates one pair among pairs of orthogonal cover code (OCC) indexes.
