According to the present invention, an electric power generator using solar heat includes: a high temperature plate which receives solar heat; a cooling plate arranged to be separated from the high temperature plate; and thermoelectric devices arranged between the high temperature plate and the cooling plate and converting heat energy to electric power. The cooling plate is formed to dissipate latent heat by vaporization of cooling water. According to the present invention, a vacuum chamber is formed on an upper side of the high temperature plate; thus preventing incident solar heat from being dissipated by convention with the air nearby. Capillary grooves are formed to generated capillarity on a lower side of the cooling plate. Therefore, the cooling water moves upwards along the capillary groove, forms a water screen, and evaporates in accordance to the relative humidity. Consequently, cooling effect can be maximized. Accordingly, the generation capacity of the electric power generator can be increased by increasing the output of the thermoelectric devices. |
