PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary vacuum pump.SOLUTION: A rotary vacuum pump 30 comprises a first set I of pumping stage that has a rotor disc having a first diameter D1 and a second set II of pumping stage that has a rotor disc having a different second diameter D2, and further comprises an intermediate pumping stage 1 particularly configured to be suitable for a change of the diameters of the pump rotor discs. According to the present invention, the intermediate pumping stage comprises a rotor disc 5 that has an outer part in the radial direction which is tapered in the axial direction from its inner diameter toward its outer diameter, and a corresponding status stage 3 that includes a spacer ring 7 which is tapered in the axial direction from its circumference toward its center. |
