PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of reducing thickness and bezel width.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal display panel 110 including an upper substrate 114 and a lower substrate 112; a backlight unit 120 including a light guide plate 121, which guides light incident from a light source module 123 onto the liquid crystal display panel 110, and an optical sheet 127, which is disposed on the light guide plate 121; and a coupling member 130 configured to couple the liquid crystal display panel 110 to the light guide plate 121 with the optical sheet 127 therebetween such that a sealed space SS is provided between the liquid crystal display panel 110 and the light guide plate 121. |
