<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for predicting an influence on the measuring result of a balance owned by an electrostatic charge on a measuring object.SOLUTION: A balance 1 has a load receiver 6 for placing a force measuring cell and a measuring object 2. A first electrode arranged in the vicinity of the measuring object is alternately applied with a first pre-defined positive voltage and a second pre-defined negative voltage, and a force acting on the force measuring cell is measured during the first voltage is applied and the second voltage is applied, and the measured value is recorded as a first measuring result and a second measuring result. A difference between the first measuring result and the second measuring result indicates a magnitude of the influence on the measuring result owned by an electrostatic charge remained on the measuring object. The difference between the first measuring result and the second measuring result indicates an essentially proportional part of a force causing the measuring result to be changed with the electrostatic charge on the measuring object, and is transmitted to a processing device as a signal.</p> |
