<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device includes: a first circuit that detects the image information of a first gradation and second gradation which is included in a first image signal; a second circuit that converts the image information of the first gradation and second gradation into image information of a gradation lower than the first gradation and into image information of a gradation higher than the second gradation, so as to generates a second image signal from the first image signal; a pixel part that displays the first to second gradation by using the second image signal; and a controller that controls the execution and stop of rewriting of the second image signal in the pixel part. The pixel part has a plurality of pixels, each of which includes a transistor and a display element that displays a gradation according to the second image signal that is input in the pixel via the transistor.</p> |
