PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize data transmission control in which base stations cooperate in consideration of efficient use of radio resources.SOLUTION: A radio communication system comprises: a first base station; a second base station connected to a wired network; and radio communication terminals which perform single data transmission for transmitting data by at least one of the base stations and cooperative data transmission for transmitting data by cooperation of the plurality of base stations. The base stations notify the radio communication terminals of a condition for cooperative data transmission. When communication quality of transmission path satisfies the condition, the radio communication terminal transmits necessary information for the cooperative data transmission to the base stations.
