<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for drying an aqueous polymer gel on an air circulation type band dryer, especially a method for introducing dryness without unevenness and reduced production inhibition.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by a method of manufacturing a water-absorbing polymer particle by polymerizing a monomer solution or a monomer suspension containing a) at least one kind of ethylenic unsaturated acid group-containing monomer, b) at least one kind of crosslinking agent and c) at least one kind of initiator, including drying an aqueous polymer gel on an air circulation type band dryer, pulverization, classification and optionally crosslinking after thermal surface, and applying the polymer gel on a conveyor belt of the air circulation type band dryer by a rotating belt having a specific rotating angle and angle speed.</p> |
