A light emitting apparatus, comprising: a first light emitting element and a second light emitting element, each of the first and second light emitting elements including a first electrode and a second electrode; a first control line coupled to the second electrode of the first light emitting element; a second control line coupled to the second electrode of the second light emitting element; a driving circuit shared by the first and the second light emitting elements, the driving circuit including a driving transistor coupled to the first electrode of each of the first and the second light emitting elements; and a scanning circuitry configured to time-divisionally and selectively cause the driving current to flow through the first and second light emitting elements, by: sequentially applying a first potential to the first control line and the second control line such that the first and the second light emitting elements sequentially emit light, andapplying, when the first potential is applied to the first control line, a second potential to the second control line such that the second light emitting element does not emit light.
