A mower (10) comprises a support rod (11), a front end housing (21) which is affixed to the front end of the support rod (11), a rotary blade (25) which is mounted to a rotating shaft (24) rotatably supported by the front end housing (21), a rear end housing (31) which is affixed to the rear end of the support rod (11), an electric motor (22) which rotates the rotary blade (25), and an electric power source (40) which supplies electric power to the electric motor (22). Rechargeable battery packs (41) which can be used in electric tools are used as the electric power source (40). |
