The present invention provides a method for driving a touch screen integrated type display device, wherein the display device includes a touch electrode within pixels of a touch panel, comprising the steps of: turning on the pixels during a display period of one frame period and supplying data voltage for displaying an image; grouping a plurality of gate lines, formed on the touch panel during a touch sensing period of one frame period, by the unit of a given number, and supplying a scan signal; supplying initializing data voltage for initializing capacitance of the touch electrode to the pixels turned on by the scan signal during the touch sensing period; and sensing the capacitance of the touch electrode during the touch period to sense a touch position. |
