DATA SERVICE ACCELERATION METHOD AND DEVICE

The present invention relates to the field of communications. Disclosed are a data service acceleration method and device for solving the problem of long deployment period and high operation and maintenance costs during the data service acceleration process of a communication carrier in the prior art. The device of the present invention comprises a first API interface, a second standard interface, and a processor; the processor is used to acquire a first request message via the first API interface, the first request message complying with a first protocol; converting the format of the first request message to obtain a second request message, the second request message complying with a second protocol; and transmitting via the second standard interface the second request message to a policy and charging rules function (PCRF), such that the PCRF reconfigures a quality of service (QoS) policy for a user terminal according to the second request message. The present invention is suitable for accelerating data service in the field of communications.
