PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior cover that has a relatively simple configuration, exhibits good appearance, suppresses the occurrence of electromagnetic interference (EMI), and even when an auxiliary cover is provided for closing an opening formed on the exterior cover, allows attachment of the auxiliary cover thereto in a relatively easy way; and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: Bending parts 52 are formed to be able to be bent and deformed toward the inside of an opening 51 in a standing state, and provided around the opening 51. An auxiliary cover 60 made of a metal material is brought into contact with the periphery of the opening 51 to close the opening 51, and the bending parts 52 are bent and deformed to hold and fix the auxiliary cover 60. |
