<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subject information obtaining apparatus which can display subject information useful to diagnosis.SOLUTION: The subject information obtaining apparatus includes: a light source 110 which emits light; an acoustic wave detecting unit 130 which detects a photoacoustic wave generated by irradiating a subject 100 with the light, and outputs an electric signal; and a processing unit 140 which is configured to perform two or more types of processing on photoacoustic signal data based on the electric signal to be able to obtain subject information corresponding to each of the two or more types of processing, and causes a display unit 160 to display the subject information corresponding to at least one processing selected by a user from among the two or more types of processing.</p> |
