1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
receiving, at a server, a message from a mobile mobile computing device associated with a sender, the message including location information indicating a physical location of the sender at a time when the message was sent to the server; determining the sender from the received message; identifying the physical location of the sender from the received message; determining whether access to the physical location of the sender is has a first type or has a second type; determining one or more users authorized by the sender to access the physical location of the sender if the event is indicated to have the first type; and communicating a message to one or more mobile computing devices associated with each of the determined one or more users, the message including the physical location of the sender.
