The present invention provides an electrochemical device in which there is a combined use of an electrode in which an oxide film is formed by using an atomic layer deposition (ALD), and a non-aqueous electrolyte including a dimethoxyethane-based compound, and preferably provides a lithium secondary battery. The present invention exhibits a cycle life that is equal to the conventional non-aqueous electrolyte battery, and in particular, exhibits significantly improved high power (C-rate) properties.
