PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve inconvenience due to the generation of condensed water in an EGR cooler.SOLUTION: A heater core 31 and an EGR cooler 33 are provided in series and a flow regulating valve 27 is provided in a cylinder head outlet-side path 23 that is a cooling water circulation path 20. An ECU 40 calculates a requested flow volume of cooling water on the basis of an operating state of an engine 10. The ECU 40 also determines whether there is a probability of generation of condensed water in the EGR cooler 33 or not. If determining that there is a probability of the generation of the condensed water, the ECU 40 restricts a flow volume of the cooling water to be smaller than the requested flow volume, and controls the flow regulating valve 27 to execute flow control for regulating the flow volume of the cooling water to the restricted flow volume. |
