PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an anion exchange membrane capable of producing an anion exchange membrane that is a graft film having both high anion conductivity and low fuel permeability.SOLUTION: A method for producing an anion exchange membrane includes the steps of: irradiating a base substance configured of hydrocarbon based polymers with radiation and subjecting the base substance after the irradiation to heat treatment, thereby forming a crosslinking structure between the hydrocarbon based polymers included in the base substance; further irradiating the base substance including the crosslinking structure formed therein with radiation, and graft polymerizing a monomer, which has a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond and a moiety into which a functional group having anion conducting ability can be introduced, to the base substance after the irradiation, thereby forming a graft chain in which the monomer is polymerized; and introducing a functional group having an anion conducting ability into the moiety in the formed graft chain. |
