PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of use of an effective compound in a treatment of mammalian target of VEGF-driven angiogenic diseases and to provide a pharmaceutical formulation containing the compound.SOLUTION: Disclosed are a use of compound consisting of imidazoquinoline derivatives or pyridine derivatives represented by formulation (I) or (II), and a pharmaceutical preparation containing the compound. The compound is useful to treat the diseases in a warm-blooded animal, especially a human, and is useful to treat Synovitis, Bone and cartilage destruction, Osteomyelitis, Pannus growth, Osteophyte formation, Pneumonia, Asthma, Nasal polyps, Liver generation, Retinopathy of prematurity, Age-related macular degeneration, Choroid and vitreous body disorder, Leukomalacia, Thyroiditis, Hypertrophied thyroid gland, Lymphoproliferative disease, Kaposi's sarcoma, Hematologic malignancy, Spinal cord injury, Pulmonary, Cerebral edema, and Retinal edema or also VEGF-driven angiogenic disease selected from these combination.
