PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen bulb for a head lamp capable of preventing deformation and disconnection of a filament by improving vibration durability.SOLUTION: In a halogen bulb 1 for a head lamp, first, second and third lead-in wires 3, 4, 5 penetrating through one end sealing part 2b of a glass bulb tube 2, a filament 6 for high beam whose one end is connected to the first lead-in wire 3 whose other end is connected to the second lead-in wire 4, and a filament 7 for low beam whose one end is connected to the first lead-in wire 3 via a conductive shield cup 8 and whose other end is connected to the third lead-in wire 5 are housed in a sealing space S in the glass bulb tube 2. A contact terminal 10 connected to one end of the filament 7 for low beam is brought into contact with the shield cup 8. An offset amount A of the contact terminal 10 in a radial direction from an axial core of the filament 7 for low beam is set to 0 mm-1.7 mm. |
