PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an AC motor in which responsiveness of control can be improved when a revolution speed of the AC motor suddenly changes.SOLUTION: In the case where a sudden change state is not determined (S107:NO), in a control section 15 of an AC motor 2, current estimation values id_est and iq_est are selected as current definite values id_fix and iq_fix to be fed back (S108). In the case where a sudden change state is determined (S107:YES), on the other hand, current detection values id_sns and iq_sns are selected as current definite values (S111). Thus, while a rotating speed Nmg does not suddenly change, one-phase control is performed, thereby reducing influences caused by an error between current sensors 12 and 13 and performing abnormality monitoring. In the sudden change state, two-phase control is performed, thereby improving responsiveness of control. |
