<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which can improve image quality with a single run of filter processing executed based on an optimum filter coefficient which can be calculated with a small amount of computation even if variable magnifications used in magnification processing performed on image data differ in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: first and second conversion matrix setting sections 301 and 302 for setting first conversion matrices in accordance with variable magnifications for a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction; a selecting section 303 for selecting a reference filter coefficient set in response to (i) a prescribed image processing condition different from the variable magnifications in the longitudinal and lateral directions or an image processing condition which adds the variable magnifications for the longitudinal and lateral directions to the prescribed image processing condition and (ii) one or more filter coefficient sets which are prestored; coefficient conversion sections 304a and 304b for primarily converting a matrix indicated by the selected reference filter coefficient set by using the first conversion matrix and a second conversion matrix; and a filter processing section 26 for performing filter processing on image data by using the converted filter coefficient set.</p> |
