<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system, an information providing apparatus and an information providing method capable of notifying the user of a wireless terminal of information appropriately, while suppressing the impact on the relay processing of a wireless LAN access point.SOLUTION: An information providing system includes communication state acquisition means, determination means, and notification means. The communication state acquisition means acquires the information of communication traffic between a wireless terminal and a communication network via a wireless LAN access point connected with the communication network. The determination means determines from which communication medium, of the wireless LAN access point and a wireless WAN base station, the notification information is notified based on the information of communication traffic acquired by the communication state acquisition means. The notification means notifies a wireless terminal, existing in the wireless LAN communication area of the wireless LAN access point, of the notification information from the communication medium determined by the determination means.</p> |
