摘要 The invention relates to a modular high-frequency converter (3) and to a method for operating same. The converter (3) comprises multiple submodules (5a-5c) that are serially connected on the input side into a power supply circuit (8), which is fed from a DC voltage source (4), via an inductor (7). Each submodule (5a-5c) has a semi-bridge (20) on the input side and at least one single-phase full bridge (21) on the output side. In each submodule (5a-5c), the semi-bridge (20) and the full bridge (21) are connected in parallel together with an intermediate circuit capacitor (22) in a intermediate DC voltage circuit (25). According to the method, the submodules (5a-5c) are connected to the power supply circuit (8) in an alternating manner, wherein the intermediate circuit capacitor (22) of the respective connected submodule (5a-5c) is connected into the power supply circuit (8) by means of the input-side semi-bridge (20). In the process, the intermediate circuit voltage (Uz1-Uz3) dropping across the respective intermediate circuit capacitor (22) of each submodule (5a-5c) is measured. The submodule or each submodule (5a-5c) to be connected is selected according to the voltage deviation of the corresponding intermediate circuit voltage (Uz1-Uz3) from a specified target voltage value (UZ10-UZ30).
