At startup time of a computer device (100): a CPU (101) executes a first initialization procedure (132) included in a RAS module (130); initializes resources used by the RAS module (130); subsequent to execution of the first initialization procedure (132), executes an initialization procedure (111) included in an OS (110); initializes resources used by the OS (110); subsequent to execution of the initialization procedure (111), executes a second initialization procedure (133) included in the RAS module (130); copies an interrupt assessment unit (112), included in the OS (110), to the RAS module (130); and sets an interrupt detection mechanism (102) so that when the interrupt detection mechanism (102) detects an interrupt, an interrupt assessment unit (134) that has been copied to the RAS module (130) is invoked instead of the interrupt assessment unit (112) of the OS (110).
