<p>The present invention relates to a process for the selective back-extraction of scandium with respect to thorium and/or zirconium and/or titanium dissolved in an organic solution based on a primary alkyl amine, characterized in that it comprises the following successive steps: - a) bringing an organic solution based on a primary alkyl amine dissolved in which are scandium and a metal chosen from thorium, zirconium, titanium and mixtures thereof into contact with an acid aqueous solution of phosphate salts so as to form a complex between the scandium and the phosphates, - b) separation of the aqueous solution comprising the complex between the scandium and the phosphates from the organic solution based on a primary alkyl amine, - c) recovery of the aqueous solution comprising the complex between the scandium and the phosphates. It also relates to a process for the selective extraction of scandium from an acid aqueous solution of sulphate containing scandium and a metal chosen from thorium, zirconium, titanium and mixtures thereof and to a process for the selective extraction of scandium, thorium, zirconium and optionally titanium from an acid aqueous solution of sulphate containing scandium, thorium, zirconium and optionally titanium with the aid of an organic solution based on a primary alkyl amine using this back-extraction process.</p> |
