The present invention relates to a control system and a control method for vehicle cooling fan, comprising: a voltage sensor configured to output a signal corresponding to the state of a vehicle; an engine control unit configured to control the engine of the vehicle; a cooling motor fan control unit configured to perform communication with the voltage sensor and the engine control unit respectively and to generate a cooling fan control signal according to whether communicating with the engine control unit and receiving the signal; and a cooling fan motor configured to control the cooling fan according to the generated cooling fan control signal.
