The present invention relates to a hoist comprising a mechanic unit which mechanically moves a hook up and down; and a driving unit which provides power to the mechanic unit. The driving unit has a power transferring unit which transfers power to the mechanic unit. The mechanic unit and the power unit are spaced from each other through the power transferring unit. By using the hoist, the driving unit such as a motor can transfer power in distance while being separated from the mechanic unit such as a winding drum.
