The present invention relates to a heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a motor vehicle. The HVAC system includes a housing having a length longer than a width, and arranged in a length parallel to the lengthwise direction of the motor vehicle between the front seats. The HVAC system includes an air blower assembly arranged on either inside an engine room or under a dashboard of the motor vehicle.
