Provided is technology, for a composite sensor, to suppress a failure that occurred in a detection element from influencing another detecting unit in which no failure has occurred. A composite sensor comprises: a plurality of detecting units formed from signal detection circuits, which are contained in a plurality of detection elements, that are a C/V conversion circuit (321a, 321b), an amp circuit (322a, 322b), ADC (323a, 323b), diagnostic voltage output DAC (327a, 327b), a carrier signal generating DAC (328a, 328b), and a substrate voltage generation DAC (320a, 329b); a GND voltage input unit (332) and a current voltage input unit (331) shared among each of the plurality of detecting units; and an over-current switch circuit (101a, 101b) that is a failure detection circuit that is contained in each of the plurality of detecting units, detects failures in each detection element, and stops current supply to the detecting unit when a failure occurs. |
