The housing (1) has a cylindrical package body (4) comprising a mating surface and a cable connection side. A multi-core cable is insertable into the package body at the cable connection side of the package body. A cylindrical closure element (10) is connectable with the package body and conductively connectable through the cable. The closure element is irreversibly latchable with the package body by a circlip (7). The closure element comprises a seal, which seals the cable connection side of the body. A nose (17) is formed at the body and engaged with an inner recess of the closure element.
