Provided is knitted fabric having a three-dimensional structure which comprises face and back ground cloths and a connecting thread that connects the cloths, wherein the connecting thread is constituted of synthetic fibers that have a melting point as measured by DSC of 220-270ºC and the face and back ground cloths are constituted of synthetic fibers and satisfy the relationship 0ºC≤(melting point by DSC of the connecting thread)-(melting point by DSC of the face and back ground cloths)<30ºC, and when the knitted fabric having a three-dimensional structure is examined by JIS K6400-2, method E, the pushing pressure at 75% compression in thickness (pushing area, 314 cm2; compression speed, 100 mm/min) is 85-150 kgf. Also provided is a process for producing knitted fabric having a three-dimensional structure, the process comprising subjecting three-dimensional knitted fabric composed of face and back ground cloths and a connecting thread that connects the cloths to a heat treatment in a heating oven set at a temperature lower by 20 to 50ºC than the melting point measured by DSC of the material of the connecting thread.
|
