<p>There is a need for mechanizing work and improving production efficiency by automating the attachment and detachment of a cutting tool insert. Instead of a conventional manually screwed insert-fixing mechanism, the present invention provides a cutting tool equipped with: an L-shaped insert fastener (4), wherein the pin that serves as the rotation supporting point is fitted into a bearing section formed in the main body of the cutting tool; a spring (8), which is fixed inside the tip of the cutting tool and the restorative force of which is applied at the foot (16) of the insert fastener to cause an insert (3)-fixing action by the insert fastener; and a hydraulic piston (9), which is driven by a hydraulic cylinder (10) and is for deforming the spring in the direction opposite to the restorative force of the spring at the foot of the insert fastener and applying a force to rotate the insert fastener to cause a release of the insert fixation.</p> |
