ALGINATE BEAD IMPREGNATED BUBBLE AND METHOD FOR THE SAME

The present invention relates to a bubble-supported alginate and a method for producing the same to improve heavy metal removal efficiency per unit mass of alginate by supporting bubbles in solid phase alginate. The method for producing bubble-supported alginate of the present invention comprises: a step for preparing an alginate solution and a solidifying solution; and a step for forming the alginate bead by dropping the alginate solution drop by drop to the solidifying solution while irradiating the solidifying solution by ultrasonic waves to harden the alginate solution. Therefore, the bubbles are supported to the alginate beads by irradiation with ultrasonic waves.
