Abstract Eccentric bushing assembly (40) for a wireline-operated directional core barrel drill, especially for rock drilling of curved holes with a predetermined path. The eccentric bushing assembly (40) is an adjustable eccentric bushing assembly (40) which includes a bushing 5 (41) and two eccentric sleeves in the form of an outer sleeve (42) and an inner sleeve (43) engaging each other so that eccentricity can be changed seamlessly without the need of replacing components of the directional core drill to change the oblique position of the drill bit (12).
