Producing chip type snack product based on potatoes and/or vegetables, comprises (a) preparing the vegetables and/or potatoes, which is to be processed, (b) cooking or roasting the prepared vegetables and/or the potatoes, (c) passing the cooked vegetables and/or boiled potatoes to a vegetable puree, (d) adding at least one ingredients, which is similar to potato chips, in the vegetable puree, (e) finishing vegetable puree in individual portions, (f) expanding and drying the portions of the snack product based on vegetables or potatoes at elevated temperature and under reduced pressure. Producing chip type snack product based on potatoes and/or vegetables, comprises (a) preparing the vegetables and/or potatoes, which is to be processed, (b) cooking or roasting the prepared vegetables and/or the potatoes until the vegetables and/or the potatoes are completely and thoroughly cooked, (c) passing the cooked vegetables and/or boiled potatoes to a vegetable puree, (d) adding at least one ingredients, which is similar to potato chips, in the vegetable puree, (e) finishing the vegetable puree into individual portions, (f) expanding and drying the portions of the snack product based on vegetables or potatoes at elevated temperature and under reduced pressure. An independent claim is also included for the snack product made of potatoes and/or vegetable, which is obtained by the above mentioned method. |
