Disclosed is an orthogonal frequency division system which reduces a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) in an orthogonal frequency division multiple system. The disclosed orthogonal frequency division system includes a transmission part which transmits and modulates a multiple divided signal with orthogonal frequency and a reception part which receives the transmission signal of the transmission part and demodulates the same. The reception part includes a weighted value application part which applies weighted data to a data stream having discrete data and generates a weighted data signal, and an inverse Fourier transformation part which is connected to the weighted value application part, transforms the weighted data signal, and generates a weighted transmission signal.
