The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a flat panel display to form an optical transparent glue layer, capable of reducing defects and a process time and providing an optical transparent glue layer having the uniform peripheral surface by using a film jig. The method for manufacturing a flat panel display to form an optical transparent glue layer on a protection glass or on a display panel includes the steps of: arranging a film jig; attaching the film jig to a production glass or a display panel and forming a dam; coating the inside of the dam with an optical transparent glue up to the height of the film jig; curing the coated optical transparent glue; and removing the film jig after the coated optical transparent glue is cured. |
