The present invention relates to an antiviral composition for calicivirus and orthomyxovirus. The composition of the present invention is excellent for inhibiting proliferation and replication activities of calicivirus and orthomyxovirus, thus can be used as an effective therapeutic agent for norovirus that has no vaccine or therapeutic agent developed yet and feline calicivirosis. Safety is qualified by using natural plants as active ingredients of antiviral agents for orthomyxovirus avian influenza and human influenza. Thus, food poisoning caused by norovirus can be reduced when providing foods containing the composition of the present invention. The present invention is expected to be very significant for socio-economic development as an alternative material for resistant and mutant virus.
