The present invention relates to a device for system optimization monitoring and false operation prevention, capable of improving a monitoring operation for determining automatic optimization execution for system optimization work executed in a computer and preventing the false operation of the automatic optimization execution according to system time change. The present invention comprises a system monitoring unit, a threshold value determining unit, an optimization executing unit, and a period determining unit. The system monitoring unit monitors a state for one or more optimization items in a system according to a period set for determining the execution for one or more optimization items in a computer system. The threshold value determining unit compares a monitoring result for each item checked by the system monitoring unit with a predetermined threshold value and determines the system optimization execution for a corresponding item. The optimization executing unit executes system optimization work for the corresponding item when a current value of a monitored corresponding item exceeds the predetermined threshold value according to a determination result of the threshold value determining unit. The period determining unit adjusts a determined period of the system monitoring unit according to a ratio of the monitored current value for the predetermined threshold value according to the determination result of the threshold value determining unit. |
